Woow I just realized today that I've been dating my last 4 updates wrong. Apparently I thought it was still 2007. I actually had to ask one of my MSN buddies what year it was. Oh well! 'Tis fixed now. :D BANANA BANANA BANANA BANANA TERACOTTA BANANA TERACOTTA TERACOTTA PIE!

Box :: A drawing of creepy siamese twins. Woot! Oh and if you're wondering, I call it "Box" because the movie that inspired me to draw this is a short film called Box directed by Takashi Miike. That was one creepy movie.
Floral Chaos :: I actually drew this on a notecard with makeup. Funny how things happen.
Jared Leto :: This is a screenshot from Jared's upcoming movie, Mr. Nobody, which I am extremely excited about. It sounds really awesome.
Rocket Collecting :: The picture is from Foto Decadent again and the lyrics are from "Rocket Collecting" by Milla Jovovich.
Helena Bonham Carter :: She's been in 2 of my favorite movies (Fight Club and Sweeney Todd) so I figured I should make something with these pictures. Yay.

3/24/08 - Don't watch the remakes. Ever.

Music: "R-Evolve" 30 Seconds To Mars

I just saw the trailer for Shutter, and now I'm pissed all over again. Do not watch these asian horror movie remakes. Ever. The originals are so much better.
Here's some new art:
Jenn vs. Keyodie Round 5 :: It's kinda simple, but I was just playing around.
Bubble Black vs. Keyodie Round 6 :: I love System of a Down. They're so awesome. They're the only band I've listened to that can include "lalalalalala" in their lyrics while still sounding like they know what they're doing.
I also made 4 new avatars, which you can see on the art page if you like.

I'm off to watch Scrubs.

3/11/08 - I need sleep

Well I'm back. This is actually going to be a pretty decent update. I know, crazy. Ugg I need sleep. I've gotten about 10 hours of sleep in the last two days. I joined a bunch of fanlistings yesterday. Woo. Sweeney Todd was awesome.
Today, I have one lonely new icon ('tis the one I'm using for this update), new drawings, new photography, AND new graphics. The only thing that's really new is the graphics, the rest I just forgot to put on the site. -.-

Rain :: This is a piece I made out of another lovely picture I got from Foto Decadent... It's actually a very nice set. Look at it here.
Lesser of Two Evils :: Another awesome picture from foto decadent. Sorry, I forgot where I got it.
Build a Wall :: Another pic from FD. This time the lyrics are from "The Fragile" by Nine Inch Nails.

3/10/08 - Holy banana cakes!

Music: "Soothsayer" Buckethead

Ugh I hate how this happens. My inspiration isn't constant, it comes in short, intense bursts. Oh well. At least I updated. And *gasp* I actually changed the layout! After NINE FREAKIN' MONTHS. HOLY CRAP. Has it really been that long? Anyway, this layout is based off of one of my favorite movies Fight Club... If you haven't seen it yet and you like weird, amusing, and violent movies with awesome endings, watch it. It's awesome. :D
Not only did I put up a new layout, I actually made some art. Just two pieces, but that's better than nothing.
Buckethead - Buckethead is actually what got me inspired and allowed me to do all this stuff. I was just fooling around with PS and trying to make it fit his music/personality, and I found some new techniques that I felt I should use in a new layout. It was lots of fun. I was experimenting a lot with text too, as you can probably see.
Rough Hands - I made this a few weeks ago. The lyrics are from "Rough Hands" by Alexisonfire.

I also got a first place award for most unique graphics from AU. *feels special* Oh, and the battle between Antigone and I is officially finished. 'Twas an awesome battle.
Hopefully I update again soon. If my inspiration lasts that long. -.- Let me know what you think of the layout and such.

12/20/07 - Heh...

Music: "The Arms of Sorrow" Killswitch Engage

Haha whatever happened to my muse coming back? And "expect more art tomorrow"? I don't know. But I do have some stuff, I just don't feel like coding right now. I'm trying to figure out the new layout too, but... Bleh. Anyway, I'm going to Korea for the next few days so I won't be able to update... I will when I get back though. See ya!

Oh, btw, I am SOO EXCITED about the people they cast for Twilight. I love Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson is a great choice. He's not perfect, but you've gotta admit, pretty much any actor would fall short of who we think Edward should be. Kristen Stewart is AWESOME though.

12/06/07 - My muse is back!

Music: "Aisha" Death In Vegas

Woot! I'm back! I lost my muse again, but now it's back! Thankyou, Milla Jovovich. =P I've started working on the next layout (I'm just figuring out the coding now) too, so that's a huge improvement. Also, I'm thinking of making BTRD a collective/blog for me... I was thinking of making an art section of the site like I do with goodies, and then I got the collective idea. Hmm. I think I'll do it. Anyway, onto the art.

30 Seconds to Mars: Self-Titled :: This is round 4 of the album battle between me and Bubs. I decided on the self titled album by 30 Seconds to Mars. I guess it's alright. It's really different for me, I think. I'm really not sure what to think.
The Fragile :: This is the last volley (for me) in Antigone vs. me... =( 'Twas an awesome battle. The lyrics are from "The Fragile" by Nine Inch Nails. I love NIN they're awesome. Their lyrics are amazingly depressing though. =P

That's it for today, but definitely expect more art tomorrow... I might even have the layout up by then if I'm lucky.

Wooow. Guess what I did today? I joined fanlistings. A LOT of them. It seriously took up all of the time I had today. And go figure. I told myself I was going to do my homework yesterday. Procrastination is not a good habit to get into, kids! I actually updated the rest of the about me page too. Go check it out! The FL links are fancy now, too. By the way, I'm still not done with the FL craziness.
I only have one photo manip for you (My first one! Yay!) today, but I'll be working on my battles and stuff tomorrow. Hopefully.

And I now have inspiration for a new layout. So expect that soon. I hope.

11/25/07 - 2 Brush Sets

Music: "The God Awful Truth" Fear Before the March Of Flames

I'm baaack! I bet you'll be glad to hear that I have cleaned out my affiliates section, deleted some linkbacks, renamed all the brush set filenames, and I did a little rearranging thing in the stocks and textures sections so that the lighstocks are in the stocks section! Why? Because lightstocks has the word "stock" in it, so I thought it would be a good fit. Aren't you so excited?

In other news, my C key has now popped off, making it a total of 4 keys missing from my keyboard. Great! Okay, now onto news that you care about.
I have added 2 brush sets. The first one (15 brushes) has some things I drew with a ball point pen, thus the name, and the second (14 brushes) is lots of handwritten text written with the same ballpoint pen.

The stuff in my icon is actually made from my brushes... The flower brush is coming soon. *gasp* You must be thinking, "MORE BRUSHES??? HOLY CRAP!! I DON'T THINK I CAN TAKE IT!!" *sigh* Just say you did, you know, to boost my ego and make me think that I'm psychic. It'd just be a nice thing to do.
Well, I don't have much else to say... See you next time! I'll have some brushes and art for you next time! And who knows, maybe some textures if I'm in the mood.

Oh yes! I almost forgot. I have now officially written 2 pages of Chapter 3 of my vampire story. Who wants chocolate?

11/24/07 - Tutorial & Art

Music: "Let's Go to War" Murderdolls

Hey everyone! I hope you had a nice thanksgiving. As for me, I played Rockband and Guitar Hero and my friend's dad cooks awesomely, so it wasn't too bad. =P Oh, and I know I mentioned earlier that I was going to make a new layout, but I actually like it right now and don't really feel like changing it... I hope you can bear the brightness a bit longer. Heh.
Anyway, I finally got that icon tutorial done. The tutorial is on how to make the Scrubs icon I'm using right now. (I love Scrubs so much!)
Also, I have one piece of art. I drew it with a black pen, a red pen, and some pencils/colored pencils here and there. What do you think? Click me!

11/14/07 - Icons

Woot! Another update! I'm getting better at this. I've added icons to the graphics section. Also, I think I mentioned a while back that I was going to make a tutorial, and I decided on an icon tutorial.

Also, I've had too much coffee. It's thundering. I like cheese, which is me gusta queso in spanish. Isn't that AWESOME? I'm reading The Hobbit right now. I love rain. I'm listening to Cradle Of Filth. Hmmm what else can I say so that the headers on this update don't mess up with lack of text? Well, I probably could figure out a way to have it not messed up, but I'm too lazy. Plus, I'm kinda tired. But not really. My stomach hurts from drinking too much coffee. Alright I think that's enough text. Toodles! (I said toodles. Kill me.)

11/13/07 - Siighhh

Hey, I'm doing pretty good with the little updates more often thing. Except for the "often" part. *sigh* I promise I'll start doing better! Plus, next week we have Thanksgiving Break, so I'll probably make a new layout then AND add the webcomic.
First things first, thanks JF for the halloween gift! Second things second, I have cleaned out the graphics section. Third things third, did you know that you can buy milk in bags in Canada? Fourth things fourth... Blah I don't know where I'm going with this. Oh yeah! The graphics. Teheh.

Emilie Autumn - A blend I made of the song "What If" by Emilie Autumn. Gorgeous song.
Antigone VS Keyodie Round 17 - I used the song "Riot Time" by Powerman 5000 which is an awesome band. I'm really obsessed with color burn lately.

Like I said... Not much of an update. But I promise there will be lots more very soon with Thanksgiving coming up and all that.

11/02/07 - Some New Art

So, how was everyone's Halloween? Mine was great. I scared little kids. =D I looked pretty scary if I do say so myself... I was a random scary/creepy/disturbed girl with a doll, if you were wondering. ANYway, I have some new art to share... It's not that much of an update since I'm trying to work on that little updates more often thing. But I hope you enjoy it anyway! Goodies are coming soon, I promise. And I will be working on a new layout/the webcomic.

Antigone vs Keyodie Round 15 - This time the song is "Daylight Dancer" by Lacuna Coil which is an awesome song and awesome band that pwns Evanescence. Yeah. Anyway, I'm really surprised at how good this turned out. I didn't have high expectations when I started. And thank you Foto Decadent for the images.
Jenn vs Keyodie Round 3 - The song for this one is "The Fantasy" by you guessed it, 30 Seconds To Mars.
Milla Jovovich - The actress in the awesome movie "Resident Evil". This is a weird collage, sorta, but oh well. I think it's alright.
Milla Jovovich 2 - Another blend of the same actress as above. This one's abstract, which I like. I used the textures I updated with last time.

I made some more graphics, but they're not worthy enough for your eyes. =P
